We believe ingredients should earn their place.

Every Brokenwood formula starts with clean, purposeful components chosen for how they perform — not how they sound in marketing copy. We use nourishing oils, rich natural butters, and skin-safe botanicals that support healthy, comfortable skin through daily use.

Our ingredient lists are kept intentional and minimal. Each oil, butter, or botanical is selected for a specific reason: moisture, cleansing, protection, or balance. If it doesn’t contribute meaningfully to the product, it doesn’t make it into the batch.

We favor ingredients that are:

• Gentle and effective for regular use

• Responsibly sourced whenever possible

• Proven through traditional soap-making and body care practices

No trends. No unnecessary additives. Just ingredients that work hard and do their job well.

Just as important as what we use is what we leave out.

Brokenwood products are made without harsh detergents, heavy fillers, or unnecessary chemicals that can strip, irritate, or overwhelm the skin. We don’t believe in adding ingredients simply to inflate labels or chase trends.

You won’t find:

• Harsh sulfates or aggressive surfactants

• Parabens or unnecessary preservatives

• Artificial fillers with no functional purpose

We also avoid over-fragrancing. Our scents are balanced and intentional — present, but never overpowering. The goal is comfort, not intensity.

Every omission is a choice. One that reflects our commitment to practical, skin-respecting products you can trust every day.

Our process is slow by design.

Each Brokenwood product is handcrafted in small batches using time-tested methods that prioritize quality over speed. We measure, mix, pour, cut, cure, and package everything by hand — allowing us to stay closely involved at every step.

Small-batch production gives us control:

• Control over consistency and performance

• Control over ingredient integrity

• Control over the final product you receive

It also means no two batches are exactly alike — a natural result of real craftsmanship. Slight variations in color or texture are part of what makes each batch authentic.

We don’t rush the process. We respect it. Because good products take time — and we’re okay with that.
